Breakfast at Choo Choos in Port Douglas

After a few days of eating in Macrossan Street, the main drag in Port Douglas, I was ready for a change in scenery.

I wouldn’t have been able to find Choo Choo’s had it not been for good old Google. And even then I  had no idea what a gorgeous setting it would be until I actually got there.

The girl in the cinema

I was really looking forward to watching the Girl on the Train. I was excited when I read the comparisons to Gone Girl and even more excited when I read the book and heard about the film adaptation. But today when I went to watch the movie something happened that deflated my excitement and happiness even before the lights dimmed for the movie.
