A round-up of some of the best places to brunch in South West Sydney. Most I have visited, others are on my must visit list:
XS Espresso – Wetherill Park
I had kind of forgotten to review this one. These guys serve Campos coffee, which is really hard to go wrong with. They are also popular for those crazy freak type shakes which I am too sensible for.The have the expected breakfast option plus some more interesting things like the Spanish Breakfast Bowl pictured. It kind of looks like something rude doesn’t it?
Be prepared to wait for a seat because they do get quite busy on the weekends. It will be worth it- people queue for a reason.
These guys have several locations but the one I visited was 9a/1183-1187 The Horsley Dr, Wetherill Park.
Macchina Espresso – Livepool
I first noticed them when they started following me on Instagram. In my curiosity I followed them back and was really impressed to see their Instagram feed. Amazing looking food…and that too in Liverpool? Unheard of really.
I’m hoping others follow their lead and take a chance on Liverpool by opening up more brunching places nearby. Liverpool CBD needs it!
Visit them: 264 Macquarie St, Liverpool
Juicy Goose – Narellan
This cafe is hidden away at an industrial area..so much so that I had never heard of them. They have an abundance of seating indoors and outside in a rustic chic theme and is child friendly.
The menu has breakfast options like the usual avo on toast plus pancakes. These guys serve the trusty Toby’s Estate coffee.
Visit – 40 Anderson Road, Smeaton Grange
The Usual Cafe – Cabramatta
Like we needed a another reason to go to Cabramatta.
The suburb for the most amazing pho now also has what is probably my favourite new cafe of 2016. This cafe is Scandinavian/minimalism themed. They’ve taken off on Instagram in a major way. They change their menu seasonally and it will make you keep going back!
Service is young, friendly and quick.
Visit them – 8/46 Hill St, Cabramatta
Ristretto and C0 – Liverpool
This place is a bit of an hidden oasis in Liverpool. When you walk down the hallways and comeout to the courty yard you feel like you’ve entered some secret society club.
Great coffee. Great food. And the atmosphere is buzzy. There is a reason it often makes it to the best breakfast lists in all of Sydney
Ristretto and Co – 156 Northumberland St, Liverpool
And on my to visit list:
Black Elk – Am dying to try out the new kids on the block ***TRIED*** with the promise of all day breakfast! I’ve been drooling over their social media pictures and will do a post once I have visited:
600 Kurrajong Rd, Carnes Hill 2171
Have you visited any of these? Got any places to recommend? Do share below! I love hearing from you 🙂
