Macchina Espresso in Liverpool

Sydney had some really nice weather this weekend! It felt like the perfect time to cross off another cafe from my must try list.

I had Macchina Espresso on my mind for a long time. Their Instagram feed has not gone unnoticed. They have seriously drool worthy snaps.

We sat down at midday on a Sunday after a looong and much needed sleep and was super happy to hear that they serve breakfast all day. A big tick in my books.

Macchina Liverpool Western Sydney Cafe review

The iced coffee and iced latte were pretty quick to come out. Even though the wait for our food wasn’t very long, these were finished in no time.

We both ordered 2 items off their new Spring menu.

The husband ordered the Breakfast Pan which lives up to its name and gets served on a pan.

He substituted the poached eggs for scrambled – and these were quite honestly some of the best scrambled eggs I have had. I usually find them too bland but this wasn’t the case here. It also came with chorizo, caramelized onions, mushrooms, potatoes and kale. It was a really generous serving so I got to enjoy plenty of it as well.

In the back there you must have spotted my Ricotta Toast. This was raisin toast with nuts and creamy ricotta and strawberries. Close-up:

Quite literally a glorious mess.

Macchina Espresso is located at 262 Macquarie Street, Liverpool. Otherwise check them out at one of their other locations around Sydney.

So glad to have found a place for all day breakfasts that is close by for me! Have you got a favourite all day brekie place?

  1. Oh that Breakfast Pan looks so hearty!
We have a brunch place we like to visit that has house-made everything: bread, cured meat, sauces. We go there more often than we should, really. They know us by now. 😛
