Since moving back to South West Sydney, I have been real pleasantly impressed with the cafes and brunch spots out this way.
Sure they are fewer and further in between but you have to start somewhere right?
One such place is the aptly named The Usual Cafe in Cabramatta. You had me at hello. I already liked this place just by that name.
When we visited on a Sunday morning we were lucky to score a table without having to queue.
This is the big breakfast – the usual brekky board with pork chorizo.
I opted for the hotcakes with berries, banana and candied walnut. That’s two amazing hotcakes I’ve had here in SWS recently.
No pretentious service here – these guys were friendly, efficient and quick. We were pre-warned that the hotcakes take a little longer than the other meals which was no problem because our drinks came out soon after ordering.
Well worth a visit: 8/46 Hill St, Cabramatta (right by the car park)
