Chi Chi Spices palette + swatches

For a girl on a budget like me, you would only know too well that we read gazillions of review before spending our hard earned $$ on beauty products. Sometime though you kind of just declare love at first sight and go ahead and buy it anyway.

The Chi Chi Spices Palette popped up on my Instagram feed a few days ago and ever since then I couldn’t stop thinking about the gorgeous browns andΒ warm Autumn colours…despite the fact Sydney is well and truly heading into Summer.

At Myer they had a sale onΒ the Chi Chi range and I managed to pick up the Spices palette for a cool $18.

The colours unfortunately are not individually named.

From first impression and application, the colours are absolutely gorgeous. The shades are wearable for everyday.

The palette is perfect for someone like me – someone who doesn’t wear much eye shadow. With this one palette you get a variety of rich brown and dusty pink and rose tones as well as softer barely there shades.

The eyeshadows when swatched did not appear all too shimmery. The outer packaging says that they can be applied wet or dry to create various looks.

The below swatch have been very lightly applied with only a touch of the product.

For long lasting wear you will need to apply some eyeshadow primer as the swatches did not last on my hand for very long.

Overall a great buy for some gorgeous colours. This is your go-to if you want quality and gorgeous colours on a budget.
