I don’t want to jinx anything, but lately Sydney has had some gorgeous weather on the weekends. The WSB and I try to get out and about and do active things such as walks. Lately he has been picking most of the walks and I have been (quietly) impressed.
This walk started off in the North Shore suburb of Fairlight. The longer version of it starts from the Spit but we didn’t quite have a whole day so instead opted to do a 4 hour return walk.
After parking on a nearby suburban street we walked on through parks and small beaches until we got to a busy Manly Wharf.
Many Wharf was quite the happening place with plenty of stylish bars and eateries.
From there on we cut through a few suburban streets and on to Manly Beach.
The Cabbage Tree Bay part of the walk made me feel as though I was in Europe with gorgeous white houses with blue shutters overlooking the water.
One of my favourites part was Shelley Beach which has the famous Boathouse Restaurant.
After Shelly Beach there were steps leading up to a more rugged/bush setting part of the walk. This was another part of the Sydney Harbour National Park.
After dining at Bella Vista cafe and having a sneaky wine we got to North Head to relax and admire the view for a minutes before the walk back.
